L-Tyrosine for normal thyroid function
L-Tyrosine is a so-called semi-essential amino acid. Semi-essential means that the body can normally produce them itself. In certain life situations, however, it may be necessary to supply them from outside.
Product details
Natural combination of active ingredients
Thyroid Support is complemented by the natural active ingredients of olive leaf, schisandra chinensis, guggul and coleus forskohlii extract.
Olive leaf extract can lower blood pressure and vasodilate, so it can help with an underactive thyroid (1).
Schisandra extract is commonly used as an adaptogen to regulate the stress hormone cortisol (2).
The guggul extract it contains appears to stimulate thyroid activity thanks to the active ingredient guggulsterone, thus regulating thyroid function (3).
Coleus Forskohlii is a tropical plant also known as Plectranthus barbatus. The thyroid gland may benefit from taking forskolin. It appears to stimulate the auto-synthesis of important hormones.
It also contains vitamins B12 and B9, which are important cofactors not only for the thyroid but for the whole energy metabolism. The formula has also been rounded off and optimized with piperine for better bioavailability.
