Caffeine

Caffeine is the world's most popular stimulant. It is known for its ability to reduce fatigue by reducing the effects of adenosine in the body. Adenosine is a natural compound which blocks the flow of active or energizing neurotransmitters such as dopamine, acetylcholine and noradrenaline.

In addition, caffeine has been shown to effectively reduce muscle soreness while optimizing strength and motivation levels. What's more, it increases fat cell combustion (lipolysis), making it the ideal choice for athletes who want to improve their performance and physical appearance.

Synephrine

Synephrine is another strong stimulant, extracted from bitter oranges (Citrus aurantium). Although synephrine has been used in Chinese naturopathy for thousands of years, it only became popular in sports nutrition when ephedrine was banned.
