Arginine is a "semi-essential" amino acid normally synthesized by the body according to its needs. Arginine is known for its stimulatory effects on growth hormone (HGH) - particularly when combined with other amino acids such as ornithine.

In the past, arginine was often used by men to strengthen their erections, and combined with zinc, it enables the testicles to generate more abundant sperm, with testicles enlarging by up to 50% (1.5x) in some individuals.

Arginine also stimulates the production of nitric oxide (NO), and new knowledge shows that nitric oxide enhances muscle building; this has made arginine very popular in recent times.

Arginine is found in brown rice, oats and buckwheat, as well as in red meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, nuts and wine.

Arginine is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, people with heart disease, allergy or asthma sufferers, or people with or who have had cirrhosis of the liver, herpes or kidney failure.

Directions for use

Take 3 capsules a day. Arginine supplementation should preferably be taken before training, on an empty stomach and with water or fruit juice.
